How to submit photos for inclusion on the ICRS Fotopic site
Photos should be sent via e-mail to the Website Manager. Please ensure that no more than 5 photos are sent at a time. Ideally the size of each should be under 200Kb. If you are intending to send more than this or larger files please contact the Website Manager first.
What are acceptable photos? We will consider all photos of any railway subject within the UK, Europe or beyond. The photos must be your own work and we will not accept photos where you do not hold the copyright. We will not normally accept photos that have been manipulated or altered and you should advise us when submitting your photos for consideration if any alterations have been made to the original image. Some photos may be used for our ICRS Magazine. If you don't want your photos used for the magazine or another ICRS publication please state this when sending us your images
Do I have to be a member of the ICRS? No. We will accept contributions from both members and non-members alike.

The annual Diesel Gala at the Severn Valley Railway saw an intensive service operating, with some notable appearances. D8059 was making its first run in preservation along with 37264. Also present were three Class 50s including 50135 Ark Royal in Load Haul livery.
This gallery represents a selection of the action over the two main days of 8th and 9th October.

On the weekend of 29th/30th August Upminster Depot on the London Underground's District Line opened its doors to the public to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the depot in 1959. This collection is a selection of views from around and inside the depot on 30th August.

The 2009 DRS Open Day was held at Carlisle Kingmoor on Saturday 11th July in glorious summer sunshine. Both Trevor Roots and Brian Derricote attended the event and these are some of their photos of the many DRS locos on display during the Open Day.

Just prior to official naming, which took place on 11th July, Carl Watson took some photos of 73141 and 66732 at Minehead.
73141 has recently transferred to First GBRf having previously been with Network Rail. This is the third name that 73141 has carried so far in 2009, previously being named Ron Westwood/David Gay at Brighton in February
